Molecular Parasitology, experimental Biology and population genomics, Host-parasite Relationship and immunogenomics, Diagnostics and Intervention resistance studies, Pathogen genotyping including variant effect prediction, infection multiplicity and complexity, Human and pathogen genetics including genome-genome interactions, pharmacogenomics and drug discovery.

Study site preparation, advocacy, community entry and engagement, Design and implementation of field sampling of parasites, Molecular detection, speciation and genotyping of field isolates of malaria parasites, Plasmodium parasite culture, Ex vivo and In vitro drug sensitivity testing and growth inhibition assay, manuscripts drafting, Training of Interns, graduate and post-graduate students, supervision of students dissertation and thesis, Project report drafting and SOP development, protocol development and validation.
