Bio:
Djimde is CAMES Professor of Parasitology and Mycology at the Malaria Research and Training Centre University of Science, Techniques and Technologies of Bamako, Mali, the Director of DELGEME Plus and a Calestous Juma Research Leadership Fellow. He leads a dynamic research group whose primary focus is to understand how variations in the genomes of the malaria parasite, the human host, and the mosquito vector relate to disease outcomes like the spread of antimalarial drug resistance. His translational research program uses molecular and genetic approaches to tackle important problems in malaria control.

Bio:
Dr Alfred Amambua Ngwa has BSc, MSc and PhD in Biochemistry (Molecular biology and immunopathogenesis) from the University of Buea, Cameroon. He joined the unit in 2006, engaging in cell biology, microarray, and genomic sequencing to determine the diversity in invasion patterns and genetic selection of the deadliest malaria parasite, Plasmodium falciparum in Africa.

Paulina Tindana is an Associate Professor of Bioethics and Global Health in the Department of Health Policy, Planning and Management at the University of Ghana School of Public Health. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Ghana (1999), a certificate in Bioethics from Johns Hopkins University Berman Institute (2002), a Master of Health Sciences from the University of Toronto (2004) and a DPhil in Public Health from the University of Oxford (2013).
