The DELGEME program is moving forward and focusing on  the capacity building activities of future PhDs and Post-Doctoral students. Our first workshop for the development of research projects for the new PhD and Post-Doctoral Fellows  was organized from May 8 through 13, 2017 in Bamako, Mali at the Hotel Laïco El Farouk ex Kempeski.

DELGEME PhD students, Post-Doctoral Fellows and Faculty from different institutions of higher education and research Institutions from Mali, Gambia, Ghana, Cameroon, Tanzania, Gabon, Spain and Côte d'Ivoire participated to this training.

The overall objective of this workshop, was to provide to the participants the tools and skills needed for the writing of their thesis and research projects.

The workshop made it possible to provide to future PhD and Post-Doctoral students with a methodology adapted to their scientific and academic environment. At the end of the workshop, the fellows were able to improve their research projects and to discuss with their mentors.

This workshop ended with a visit to DELGEME offices and the Malaria Research and Training Center (MRTC).
